Charlie lives with his two parents, two brothers: Santiago and Bryan, along with another child the family took in named Marlon A. They all live in a home made of cardboard and mud, which causes health problems. They are often without food. The mother has heart problems, but still works clean homes. The father has suffered mental issues, but is praying to receiving healing to be able to work a stable job and provide for his family.
